Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is an international gastronomic society founded in Paris in 1950 with written history of the guild of “Goose Roasters” tracing back to the year 1248. The Chaîne is based on the traditions and practices of the old French royal guild of goose roasters. Later on it took the name “Rôtisseurs” (roasters) which gradually expanded to the roasting of all poultry, meat and game. The objective of the Chaîne is to promote and develop gastronomic values and the culinary art while at the same time widening its focus to table art.
We enjoy great food and wine in the company of friends in some of the best restaurants and hotels in Kuala Lumpur. Often the menus are prepared especially for us and is cooked by top chefs as well as celebrity chefs occasionally. Normally our dinners are paired with excellent wines and beverages.
We are often referred to just as “the Chaine” and the Kuala Lumpur Baillage was the first Chaine chapter formed in Malaysia. We are in over 70 countries worldwide and have more than 25,000 members internationally.
